Absolwentka Wydziału Grafiki Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie, 2003; Dyplom w Pracowni Ilustracji pod kierunkiem profesora Janusza Stannego: ilustracje do książki markiza de Sade “Zbrodnie miłości “, praca teoretyczna” „Sztuka szczęścia – malarstwo ludzi chorych psychicznie i odmiennych mentalnie”, aneks z malarstwa pod kierunkiem Profesora Henryka Gostyńskiego. 2005; dyplom w Pracowni Plakatu pod kierunkiem profesora Mieczysława Wasilewskiego / (Praca dyplomowa: cykl Plakatów przeciwko Przemocy wobec Kobiet / praca teoretyczna; “Motywacje i uczucia w Sztuce Współczesnej Kobiet). Prezentowała swoje prace na wystawach w Polsce i za granicą; (w Anglii, Irlandii, Belgii, Stanach Zjednoczonych, Singapurze, Szkocji, Szwajcarii, Niemczech). Nagrodzona stypendium Ministra Sztuki i Kultury (Warszawa, 2005 / 2020) oraz jedenastoma rezydencjami artystycznymi Cill Rialaig Artist Retreat w hrabstwie Kerry w Irlandii, a także w Islandii z nominacji Pallas Studios Dublin. W 2024 została nagrodzona przez Konsulat Artystyczny Irlandii oraz Stowarzyszenie Autorów ZAIKS. W ramach tych wyróżnień zrealizowała projekt malarski “Stronger than Language”. Zajęcia plastyczne jej metodą zostały zatwierdzone i zaproponowane poprzez Program Wizualny dla Szkół (Primary School Curiculum, Visual Arts, Arts Education Teacher Guidelines Pub: The Stationary Office Government of Ireland 2003). Dwukrotnie wymieniona w Irish Buyers Guide to Art / dział inwestycje/Prace w międzynarodowych kolekcjach prywatnych i publicznych , jak Office of Public Works w Irlandii.
Katarzyna Gajewska graduated with MA at the Fine Art Academy in Warsaw in 2005. She was awarded the Ministry of Culture Scholarship as well as John Richardson Residency Award, Agility Award (Art Council Ireland) or Andrzej Szczypiorski Creative Support Fund, ZAIKS, Warsaw. The recipient of eleven residencies at Cill RialaigArtist Retreat , Co Kerry, Ireland. She exhibits both nationally and internationally. Art classes, based on her method, were approved and recommended as part of the Visual Arts Programme for Schools (Primary School Curiculum, Visual Arts, Arts Education Teacher Guidelines Pub: The Stationary Office Government of Ireland 2003). Her work is a part of numerous international private collections, as well as permanent collections such as the Office of Public Works among others.
